The Fair Oaks Performing Arts Center, operated by the Fair Oaks Recreation & Park District, seeks a Guest Services & Concessions Associate to deliver front-line customer service, operate concessions, and host facilities for events and rentals at the district venues. Flexible scheduling includes evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Six months of experience in customer service, concessions, food & beverage, or hospitality is desirable.
• ServSafe Food Handler certification and Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Must pass pre-employment background check and fingerprinting.
• Reliable transportation to and from work is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate concessions and bar operations during events and performances.
• Set up and break down concession stations and mobile bars as needed.
• Operate and reconcile point-of-sale systems; manage cash handling.
• Maintain standard operating procedures for food & beverage operations.
• Ensure excellent customer service and smooth operational flow during events.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of F&B areas.
• Monitor facility rentals and serve as on-site host.
• Greet renters, review safety guidelines, and ensure compliance throughout the event.
• Unlock and prepare facilities in advance of scheduled activities and secure after events.
