Job summary

Comcast's Xfinity Mobile Arena in Philadelphia is seeking event staff to support concerts, sports, and family shows. Base pay starts at $28.12 per hour. Most sales roles include commission and non-sales roles may include bonuses.

Qualifications

• Ability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Flexible work schedule and adaptability to change.
• Lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Walk or stand for long periods.
• Work on irregular surfaces such as stages, ramps, lifts, ice, dirt, or other surfaces.
• Move equipment and handle tools safely.
• Work outside in all types of weather.
• Union representation after 30 working days; Teamsters Local Union 500.

Responsibilities

• Set up and strike event-related equipment (tables, chairs, risers, ice rink, portable stages).
• Load and unload supplies and equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Changeover Supervisors or Senior Changeover Manager.
• Work well in groups of various sizes.
• Operate small equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts).
• Seek improved methods for completing tasks efficiently.
• Maintain flexible schedule based on events (nights, weekends, holidays).
• Follow basic instructions and direction.
• Maintain professional attitude and appearance.
