Job summary

Chartwells Higher Education Dining Services is hiring for full-time and part-time Event Catering Wait Staff in Pocatello, ID. You will assemble, deliver, and serve food and beverages at on-premise and off-premise events, with setup, cleanup, and related duties.

Prior catering experience is preferred, with training provided and a free meal on shift. Schedules vary; applications accepted online, and responsibilities include maintaining standards and customer service during events.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 25 pounds.
• Must meet applicable state and local health requirements for food handlers.

Responsibilities

• Assembles and delivers all food and supplies for catered functions to scheduled locations.
• Arranges tables and decorations.
• Sets buffet tables with food, beverages and service items according to standards.
• Serves food and beverages to guests.
• Cleans and packs dishes and utensils.
• Returns un-served foods and equipment to the Commissary.
• Ensures display foods are merchandised attractively.
