Marcus Hotels & Resorts’ Hyatt Regency Coralville Hotel & Conference Center is seeking an Event Bartender (Part-Time) to join the Banquet Events Team, assisting with the coordination and service of food and beverages to create memorable experiences for our guests.

The role involves setting up banquet bars, stocking beverages, presenting drinks, and adhering to liquor regulations to ensure guest satisfaction. We offer competitive wages and flexible schedules to support a balanced work-life.

Responsibilities

• Maintain proper setup of the banquet bar prior to events, stocking beer, wine, spirits, and supplies.
• Stock and label fresh fruit, garnishes, and perishables daily to ensure product quality.
• Greet guests and document drink orders in a courteous, professional manner.
• Comply with all liquor regulations and corporate policies regarding service to minors and intoxicated guests.

Responsibilities

• Maintain proper and adequate set-up of the banquet bar prior to event including requisitioning and stocking of all beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws, stirrers, condiments, and produce based on projection based on event order functions sheet.


• Responsible for maintaining stock, cutting, proper storing and labeling of all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices and other perishables daily to ensure product quality.


• Greet Guests in a courteous and friendly manner and promote and document orders for drinks.


• Adhere to all State, Federal, and Corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests to ensure all laws are being followed.
