The Hyatt Regency Coralville invites applications for an Event Bartender (Part-Time) to support our banquet team in Coralville, IA. You will set up the bar, prepare and serve drinks, and ensure smooth service during events.

The role requires a friendly, team-focused attitude, weekend/holiday availability, and strict adherence to liquor regulations. Benefits include competitive wages, meal during shifts, and hotel staff discounts.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to handle cash and POS.
• Knowledge of alcohol service laws and responsible service.

Event Bartender (Part-Time)

Join our team of passionate hospitality professionals at the Hyatt Regency Coralville Hotel & Conference Center, as part of our Banquet Events Team, you will assist department with the coordination and service delivery of food and beverages to provide memorable experiences to our guests.

Responsibilities

• Maintain proper and adequate set-up of the banquet bar prior to event including requisitioning and stocking of all beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws, stirrers, condiments, and produce based on projection based on event order functions sheet.
• Responsible for maintaining stock, cutting, proper storing and labeling of all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices and other perishables daily to ensure product quality.
• Greet Guests in a courteous and friendly manner and promote and document orders for drinks.
• Adhere to all State, Federal, and Corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests to ensure all laws are being followed.
