Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need TIPS certification to apply?

TIPS certification is strongly preferred, but if you don't have it yet, you can obtain it before your first scheduled shift. Green Apple requires all bartenders to follow responsible alcohol service practices at every event.

Are shifts scheduled per event or weekly?

Event Bartender shifts are scheduled on a per-event basis. Our events team will reach out with available shifts based on upcoming events, and you can accept based on your availability. High-performing bartenders receive priority scheduling.

What types of bar setups will I work with?

Setups range from cocktail stations and wine bars to full open bars with signature drinks. You may work with portable bar units at off-premise venues, rooftop locations, corporate offices, or event halls across all five boroughs.

Do you provide bartending equipment?

Yes. Green Apple provides all bar equipment, glassware, ice, mixers, and garnishes for each event. You should bring your own bar tools (shaker, jigger, strainer, bar spoon) if you have a preferred set, but we supply everything needed.
