Job summary

The Molly Pitcher Inn in Red Bank, NJ is seeking a Seasonal Banquet Barback for our on-site front-of-house team. You will help set up banquet bars for events, keep the bar area clean and organized, and support bartenders during service to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Verbal and written ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards and guest relations.
• Knowledge of appropriate table settings and service ware.
• Self-starting personality with an even disposition.
• Ability to work well in a team and provide superior customer service.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet bar areas for events and maintain them neatly.
• Replenish ice and ensure bartenders have supplies throughout shift.
• Assist bartenders and banquet servers as scheduled or requested.
• Operate glasswashers and ensure glassware is clean and stocked.
• Clean and reset bar areas at end of shift.
