Job summary

Holland Civic Center is seeking positive Team Members to provide excellent customer service and beverages during events. The role includes bartending, serving, and executing drink orders with a focus on safety and guest satisfaction.

Certification in TIPS/ServSafe Alcohol is required before start. Availability on weekends and nights is essential, with some weekday shifts possible. Prior bar/food & beverage experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be 17 years of age.
• Must be available on weekends and nights as well as some weekdays.
• Must be TIPS, ServSafe Alcohol, or Alcohol Seller-Server certified. Certification must be current and is required to have prior to a start date.
• One year of customer service experience with the general public preferred.
• Prior bar tending and food & beverage experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently and accurately prepare and serve alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages.
• Interacting with customers, taking drink orders, and serving drinks.
• Operate a cash register and balance a cash drawer.
• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies.
• Ensure bar areas are clean and well presented.
• Any additional tasks assigned by management.
