Job summary

Concord Crabtree, Inc. is seeking a Banquet Captain in Raleigh to supervise banquet staff and coordinate all food and beverage service with the Banquet Manager. The role offers a full-time schedule with flexible shifts and a pay rate of $22–$25 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience: previous Banquet Experience. Experience in a Leadership Role. Be courteous and respectful to guests, clients, co-workers. Be punctual, reliable and flexible with scheduling according to business needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional guest service to all customers.
• Lead the team with motivation and direction and assure that all standards of quality are in place.
• Greet guests and accommodate all guests’ needs at the attendance of an event.
• Communicate with guests about the menu and answer questions.
• Deliver food and beverages from staging areas to guests as needed to assist the team.
• Assist other servers during peak periods in delivering food and guest requests.
• Train others on serving plated and reception style meal services.
• Anticipate guests’ needs and monitor dining experience for satisfaction.
• Respond promptly and courteously to requests.
• Oversee setup, execution and cleanup for events.
• Perform side work to prepare for upcoming events.
• Maintain a professional and personable appearance.
