Job summary

Bomgaars is seeking a friendly, outgoing cashier to join our team in Webster, IA. This part-time, on-site role supports evening and weekend shifts with an hourly wage. Previous cashier/retail experience and strong customer service skills are preferred.

Responsibilities include operating the register, handling transactions, assisting customers, and promoting store promotions. The job requires lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome customers.
• Operate cash register and handle transactions accurately.
• Scan and bag items for customers.
• Process returns and exchanges per store policy.
• Promote store loyalty programs and coupons.
• Balance cash drawers at end of shift.
• Maintain a clean, organized checkout area.
• Stocking the front end of the store.
• Handle phone calls.
