Job summary

Qualifications

• Six months of related janitorial experience required.
• Must have the ability to read, understand and follow written directions as well as to follow oral directions.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to the City of McKinney employee handbook and policies.
• Performs minor maintenance and repair.
• Moves furniture, sets up and takes down tables and chairs for events and daily activities.
• Strip, wax and buff floors; operates buffing machine.
• Cleans offices, bathrooms, locker rooms, meeting rooms and classrooms.
• Cleans carpets and vacuums in assigned areas; sweeps and mops floors.
• Stocks and retrieves cleaning supplies; reports equipment malfunctions to supervisor.
