Job summary

University of Delaware is seeking a House Manager for Events for Fall 2026. The role supports events and performances in campus venues such as the Center for the Arts, Bayard Sharp Hall, and Amy E. Dupont Music Building. Hours are variable, with a typical 6–10 hours per week, evenings and weekends required.

The position targets undergraduate students and involves supervising Front of House staff, coordinating with Tech Crew, and addressing guest needs while ensuring policy compliance.

Qualifications

• When available, you can supervise Front of House staff.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Experience managing a team is preferred.
• You must be an undergraduate student at the University of Delaware.

Responsibilities

• Assist with coordination and execution of events including recitals and campus performances.
• Provide supervision and direction for Front of House staff.
• Facilitate event execution in coordination with Tech Crew and Stage Manager.
• Support events and address guest concerns as they arise.
• Ensure policy compliance by guests and clients.
• Complete and file an Event Report after each event.
• Secure venue entrances post-event; may be scheduled in other roles as needed.
