Job summary

Join Cleveland Clinic Health System's Main Campus as a Clinical Pharmacist - Sterile Products performing in a high-acuity academic medical center. The role primarily works in the cleanroom, overseeing sterile compounding workflows across service lines including the operating room, critical care teams, ambulatory infusion, oncology, ophthalmics, and specialty infusions.

Qualifications

• PharmD or Bachelor's of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited college of Pharmacy.
• Current State licensure as a Registered Pharmacist (RPh) or eligible for reciprocation within 90 days.
• Immunization administration certification or ability to obtain within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, efficient, patient-centered, evidence-based medication services.
• Verify medication orders and/or dispense medications accurately according to state and federal regulations.
• Document services in a complete, accurate and timely manner.
• Actively contribute to medication safety initiatives.
• Ensure all pharmacy operations are in compliance with national accreditation standards.
• Direct staff appropriately to provide safe and efficient care and maintain professional working relationships with all caregivers.
• Educate and train students, residents, other caregivers and/or patients.
