Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; comply with CLIA foreign education equivalency.
• Six months phlebotomy experience or completion of a one semester phlebotomy course is preferred.
• PBT(ASCP) - Phlebotomy Technician is preferred upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Collect specimens following lab protocols and patient identification for all ages.
• Perform procedures in other lab areas as required by the hospital entity.
• Report and interpret test results to support patient care.
• Assist and collaborate with hospital staff to ensure timely patient care.
