Job summary

Saint Peter's Healthcare System is seeking an Emergency Room RN for evening shifts in a Magnet-designated hospital known for excellent nursing practices and patient outcomes.

The role focuses on accurate patient assessment, safe medication administration, and precise documentation while collaborating with a skilled nursing team. NJ RN licensure is required, with BSN preferred and orientation-defined certifications.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in New Jersey required.
• BSN preferred or to be obtained within 3 years of hire date.
• BLS certification required per American Heart Association.
• ACLS certification obtained during orientation.
• PALS certification obtained during orientation.
• ECG course completed during orientation.
• Critical Care course completed during orientation.

Responsibilities

• Be a positive contributor to the collaborative nursing team.
• Utilize excellent assessment skills to determine patients' health status as per Nursing Standards.
• Ensure all procedures are performed according to established Standards of Care.
• Administer medications and parenteral therapies as per policy.
• Meticulously document all aspects of patient care.
