Saint Peter's Healthcare System is seeking a Med-Surg Float Pool RN for part-time night shifts. You will assess patients, plan and deliver individualized care, and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, effective care. You may supervise staff and provide discharge planning and patient education.

Requirements include NJ RN license, BSN preferred or must be obtained within three years, BLS, and ECG course. The hospital offers competitive pay and a robust benefits package.

Formación

• Active RN license in the State of New Jersey.
• BSN preferred or must be obtained within three years of hire date.
• BLS certification required by American Heart Association.
• ECG course completed during clinical orientation.

Responsabilidades

• Assess the health status of assigned patients as outlined in the Nursing Standards.
• Plan, implement and evaluate individualized care based on patient assessment and Multi-Disciplinary Plan of Care.
• Provide direct patient care or supervision to other health team members to ensure proper implementation of care.
• Educate patients and family about health/illness state and plan of care.
• Prepare patients for discharge and health maintenance in the home setting.
