Avenues for Homeless Youth in Minneapolis is seeking a Youth Support Specialist to provide direct support to youth in a structured, safe environment. The specialist will build positive relationships, support daily routines, and help youth develop life skills for long-term stability.

Successful candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and at least 24 years of age. The role offers full-time hours with a pay range of $20.77 – $22.50/hour and comes with benefits including health insurance and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Experience working with youth or in human services preferred.
• Must be at least 24 years of age.

• De-escalate conflicts and maintain safety.
• Complete documentation accurately and promptly.
