Job summary

SALVATION ARMY A GEORGIA CORP in Kerrville, TX is seeking a part-time recreation aide to provide constant care for children in a safe, healthy environment during the evening shift.

You will lead age-appropriate learning activities, support physical and mental stimulation, and maintain materials and equipment. Applicants should be 18+, with a high school diploma or GED, and willing to obtain CPR/First Aid if needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or GED.
• Six months of experience supervising adults with children in camps, schools, or community centers preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide constant care for children in a safe, healthy environment.
• Lead age-appropriate learning and development activities.
• Provide indoor and outdoor activities for physical and mental stimulation.
• Monitor children to stay on task for activities.
• Maintain program materials and equipment in orderly condition.
• Work with diverse groups of people.
