Intercept Health's YouthQuest program seeks an Evening Support Specialist to serve as a positive role model for residents, contributing to the resident transitional living plan and assisting with life skills learning, transportation, and administrative duties.

The role emphasizes interpersonal skills, safety, and support for behavioral plans, with responsibilities including supervising excursions and helping with daily living tasks, under the guidance of Life Skills Coaches.

Qualifications

• Use good interpersonal communication skills to gain resident cooperation and resolve conflicts.
• Experience supporting youth in residential programs preferred.
• Ability to supervise medications and implement behavior systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide transportation and supervise residents on outings and appointments.
• Assist with daily living activities, including hygiene, meals, housekeeping and laundry.
• Exercise fair, firm and consistent use of behavioral system.
• Check curfew compliance and document incidents in the resident chart.
