Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred with specialty in psychology, counseling, or social work.
• 3-5 years of experience working with youth with mental health or behavioral challenges, preferably in a residential setting.
• Creative, energetic, problem-solver with a passion for working with young people; overnight shift details noted.
• Valid Driver's License with clean driving record; background clearances required.
• Ability to transport staff and/or clients as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform rounds in and outside the building to engage with youth in their home environment and support their activities.
• Provide crisis intervention and on-site counseling to residents when necessary and appropriate.
• Maintain supervision of the house, enforce rules, and conduct regular safety inspections.
• Assist with conflict management between residents and document incidents.
• Coordinate with medical or government personnel to assist residents and complete required documentation.
• Demonstrate proficiency in emergency procedures including fire drills and evacuations.
