Job summary

ACTIVSTARS is hiring Youth Cheer Coaches for evening, part-time slots across the Greater Phoenix area. Coaches will lead three age groups, teach cheer fundamentals and dance, and attend periodic paid weekend events. Training is provided, with a focus on safety and fun for ages 4–15.

Qualifications

• Have previous cheerleading experience.
• Be at least 18 years old.
• Have reliable transportation on a weekly basis.

Responsibilities

• Coach three age groups in cheer basics and cheer dance (evenings).
• Prepare practice plans and run sessions safely.
• Choreograph routines and performance cheers per team level.
• Oversee practice check-ins and basic record-keeping.
• Attend three or four paid weekend events per semester.
