Job summary

AgHires in Rogers, AR is seeking a Yard Driver to operate the yard truck outside the plant, moving and parking trailers and trucks throughout the shift. The schedule is Monday through Friday with Saturdays, and pay is $18.60 per hour.

The role requires 6 months of driving experience, a valid state driver's license, and no DWI/DUI in the past year. You will communicate with the supervisor, perform safety inspections, and assist the receiving team as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 6 months of driver's work experience.
• Must have valid state issued driver's license.
• Have no DWI/DUI conviction within the past 12 Months.
• Must have fewer than 4 points according to the Tyson Yard Driver Evaluation System.
• Must be willing to submit to the Non-Dot disclosure and release form to obtain MVR.

Responsibilities

• Completing initial safety check/inspection of the yard truck and documenting it on the inspection form.
• Maintain constant communication with the supervisor and receiving team to back in and out of the receiving dock.
• Monitor radio and respond to requests from supervisor or shipping & receiving team members.
• Assist receiving team members with unloading trailers as needed.
• Provide timely communication with the supervisor about any issues during the shift.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
