Job summary

Bimbo Bakeries USA is seeking a Yard Driver Class A to join our logistics team in the yard operations. You will communicate with jockeys and shippers, load and unload trailers, and move tractors safely to ensure efficient trailer locations and inventory accuracy.

Qualified candidates have a valid Class A license, at least one year of tractor-trailer experience (including doubles), a clean MVR, and must be able to work weekends and shifts. DOT drug screen and physical are required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• One year of tractor-trailer driving experience (including doubles).
• Valid driver’s license with a clean MVR and no restrictions.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to work weekends and various shifts.
• Must pass pre-employment DOT drug screen and DOT physical.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with jockeys and shippers about trailer locations and manifests.
• Load, unload, and move trailers; connect/disconnect tractors safely.
• Fuel and move yard tractors; ensure safe movement in the lot.
• Maintain trailer inventory and coordinate with Fleet Garage on equipment issues.
• Operate in adverse weather and maintain a clean, safe work area.
