Job summary

McLane Company, Inc in Newnan, GA is seeking a Yard Driver to support trailer movement at the distribution center, prepare trailers for shipping, and monitor loads to ensure safe, on-time deliveries.

This full-time evening-shift role pays $27.75 per hour and includes medical, dental, and vision insurance after 60 days, a 401(k) plan after 90 days, vacation and sick leave from day one, paid holidays after 90 days, and additional benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Class A CDL required.
• Clean driving record for past three years.
• Ability to read, write and understand English for safety and operations.

Responsibilities

• Drive tractor and attach/detach trailers, secure lines.
• Inspect trailers for defects and pre/post trip checks.
• Ensure product is secured for transport and refrigeration unit functions.
• Operate within yard and near facilities following regulations.
