Job summary

The Stacker position at Woodgrain in Fruitland, Idaho, involves grading and stacking random lengths of cut stock as it comes off the line. Stackers will place boards on pallets for 2x4’s or longer, band pallets, and ensure accurate piece counts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Ability to read a tape measure and interpret measurements.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Grade blocks of wood coming off of the line.
• Stack wood on pallets while keeping an accurate piece count.
• Band completed units.
• Communicate with the Tally when units are banded and ready to be tagged.
• Ability to work in and support other departments as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
