Job summary

GE Vernova Inc. is hiring for a moulding role in wind turbine manufacturing. You will perform moulding tasks, apply gel coat, lay glass and foam, and manage the infusion process while wearing appropriate PPE.

The position requires physical stamina and the ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery. The role follows a Mon-Fri 2pm-10:30pm shift with base pay in the $22.88–$27.50 per hour range.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift or carry objects up to 40 lbs.
• Ability to push/pull heavy objects.
• Must stand for extended periods on concrete floors.
• Ability to work with hands for extended periods.
• Able to operate basic hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery.
• Must work both independently and as part of a team.
• Requires wearing of respirator.

Responsibilities

• Perform moulding tasks following work instructions.
• Wear all PPE and follow health and safety guidelines for chemical usage.
• Apply gel coat, lay glass and foam, smooth wrinkles and trim glass.
• Assemble root plate with bushings.
• Lay profiles and place bag over shell.
• Complete the infusion process – vacuum check, begin infusion, troubleshoot and monitor temperatures for remainder of the process.
