Job summary

Central Lincoln County YMCA is seeking a part-time personal trainer to provide one-on-one and small-group sessions, promote healthy living, and lead fitness programs in a community-focused setting.

With a commitment to safety, customer service, and program delivery, you will help members achieve health goals while supporting YMCA initiatives and youth development. CPR/First Aid and fitness certifications required within stated timelines.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• CPR and First Aid certification within 60 days.
• Personal Training or Exercise certification within 120 days.
• 3-5 years of related experience.
• Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one and small group personal training.
• Promote healthy living and YMCA programs.
• Lead classes and EBHI programs.
• Ensure safety, licensing standards, and customer service.
• Maintain equipment and clean facilities.
• Conduct initial client consultations and build relationships.
• Enforce facility policies.
• Provide administrative support as needed.
• Mandated reporter responsibilities.
