Job summary

Grand Street Settlement is seeking an Evening Supervisor/Weekend Supervisor to manage the evening and weekend teen/adult programs at the Beacon Community Center in New York. You will supervise staff, ensure a safe, engaging environment, and coordinate activities and events.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, 1 year of supervisory youth experience, and preferred CPR/AED/First Aid certifications. Schedule includes weekdays and Saturdays with up to 35 hours per week, at $23-$25/hour.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required; some college preferred.
• 1 year or more supervising youths in a program setting.
• CPR/AED and First Aid certifications preferred.
• Familiarity with DYCD Connect is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the center’s evening and weekend teen/adult programs for safety and engagement.
• Supervise staff, interns, and volunteers; provide training and direction.
• Plan and implement activities and events based on participant interests.
• Maintain attendance, activities, and incident records; support program operations.
• Coordinate with DYCD Connect and program managers; assist in emergencies.
• Coordinate community relations and outreach activities with partners.
• Assist in planning, organization and execution of community events.
