Job summary

Collegewise is looking for part-time tutors to instruct high school students in ACT, SAT, ISEE/SSAT, Subject Tests, AP exams, IB subjects, academic subjects, and study skills and mentorship for passion projects. We’re also looking for instructors to teach the GRE, GMAT, LSAT, and MCAT for grad students.

You’ll work evenings and weekends, with at least ten hours per week, either at our offices or online via Zoom. Some regions may require in-person sessions at local offices as needed.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree and the ability to score in the required percentile for chosen subjects.
• ACT/SAT, Subject Tests, or AP exams: 99th percentile or above in selected subjects.
• Academic subjects: 95th percentile on the associated Subject Test(s) or relevant experience teaching that subject.
• GMAT, GRE, LSAT, and MCAT tutors: 95th percentile.

Responsibilities

• Instruct students privately at offices and online (via Zoom, etc.).
• Evening and some weekend availability; small group work may occur for ACT/SAT tutoring.
• Interact with parents, coordinate schedules, and work with a dedicated manager for support.
