Job summary

SCO Family of Services operates a NYS OMH licensed outpatient mental health clinic in Dix Hills, Suffolk County. We seek a clinician to provide individual, family, collateral and group treatment to a diverse client base including children, adolescents and adults.

Depending on credential and service type, reimbursement ranges from $25-$50 per appointment, with additional pay for sessions conducted in Spanish.

Qualifications

• M.A. or a Masters Degree in discipline related to the treatment of mental illness (LMSW, LCSW, LCSW-R, LMHC, LMFT)

Responsibilities

• Carry a clinical case load that will include providing individual, family, collateral and group treatment and crisis planning.
• Design and implement treatment plans for assigned cases.
• Provide direct treatment to clients in accord with clinical privileges.
• Involve significant others in the course of treatment.
• Schedule and conduct Intakes including all assessment paperwork for pre-admissions screening (PAS).
• Complete daily charge tickets for all appointments.
• Prepare referral material for clients to secure services from other community resources, such as SPOA services, housing, case management, vocation placement and/or otherwise.
• Participate at staff meetings, in-service training programs and consultation with team members.
• Participate in training and integrate evidence-based treatment in provision of clinical services
