Job summary

Glenwood Community School District is seeking a Part-Time Activities Event Custodian for nights and weekends on an as-needed basis. Starting wage is $14.86/hr. The role requires ensuring a safe, clean facility and supporting district activities as assigned by the Director of Operations.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or equivalent, solid communication skills, and prior custodial experience. Applicants must be able to lift up to 70 pounds and pass background checks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Aptitude for effective oral and written communication.
• Public relations skills and professional conduct.
• Custodial work experience, preferably in large facilities.
• Ability to pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Attend all assigned shifts to ensure operations run smoothly.
• Perform district-wide custodial duties as directed by the Director of Operations.
• Ensure proper storage, maintenance, and use of supplies and equipment.
• Comply with laws and procedures for storage and disposal of chemicals/hazardous waste.
• Keep buildings, sidewalks, driveways, and play areas clean and safe.
• Remove snow, ice, and debris from sidewalks and parking areas as needed.
• Coordinate with custodial staff for cleaning and maintenance district-wide.
• Support regular and extracurricular activities as assigned by Operations.
• Perform additional duties as needed by the Director of Operations.
