Natchitoches Regional Medical Center is seeking a Pharmacy Clerk for the NRMC Retail Pharmacy. The role involves answering phones, assisting customers at windows, collecting insurance and demographic information, and processing payments with the POS system.

The Clerk will multitask in a dynamic environment and uphold the hospital's mission and values. Responsibilities include clerical tasks, patient eligibility checks, inventory assistance, and maintaining privacy and security of drug storage

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
• Prior knowledge of pharmacology preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Greet and direct clients and callers.
• Perform clerical duties including typing and scanning.
• Answer phones and route inquiries.
• Obtain payment, verify insurance, and record demographics.
• Keep shelves organized and assist with inventory.
• Process prescription sales using the POS system.
• Answer questions about wait times and stock.
• Operate cash drawer and manage daily cash handling.
• Maintain waiting prescription bins and privacy standards.
• Ensure documentation for drug recalls and safety procedures.
• Attend meetings and participate in quality programs.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
