Job summary

You will interact with patients, Dietitians and staff to confirm nutrition needs and assist with meal selections. The position emphasizes strong customer service, diet knowledge preferred, and proficiency with a phone system and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills.
• 3+ years experience in a food service environment preferred.
• Diet knowledge preferred.
• Experience using a phone system.
• Strong oral communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Meet with patients, Dietitians and staff to discuss nutrition needs.
• Assist patients with meal selections by phone or at bedside.
• Review menus and adjust selections to diet orders.
• Process new diets and changes, record information for patient care.
• Check trays for accuracy, temperature and appearance.
• Ensure timely delivery of meals within designated time frame.
• Identify patients by name and birth date before meals.
