Job summary

The Coca-Cola Consolidated is hiring a Merchandiser to support STRAWBERRY PLAINS, Chapman Hwy & E. Knoxville, TN. You will present products, stock shelves, and ensure displays meet planograms.

Schedule includes evenings and weekends (Thursday through Sunday) with mileage paid. Responsibilities include rotating stock, placing products on shelves, creating POS materials, and building strong relationships with store staff.

Qualifications

• Must have effective communication skills (listening, speaking, and writing).
• Prior customer service experience preferred in a retail setting.
• Able to follow plan sets and communicate with store management.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and lift 50 lbs repeatedly.
• Reliable and independent with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrates critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Fills, merchandises and rotates products on display and the shelf according to procedures and special programs.
• Physically moves the product from the backroom and places it on display.
• Creates and distributes point of sale materials on display and shelf; rotates product.
• Organizes and maintains back room by stacking and arranging product by package and flavor.
• Fosters business relationships with store personnel through routine follow-up on requests and programs.
