Qualifications

• Comfortable working with Large Animals (Horses, cows, sheep, etc.).
• Properly handle and restrain various species of animals.
• Effectively communicate with team and stakeholders.
• Work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Set up surgical suite for emergency surgery.
• Position animal on surgical table with assistance from surgery team.
• Complete preparation of surgical site and sterile technique.
• Assist with circulation nurse duties and recovery of animals.
• Clean and disinfect rooms, surgery tables, and equipment according to protocol.
• Set up room for next surgery.
