• Greet visitors and direct them appropriately.

Responsibilities

• Provides excellent customer service, assistance, guidance, and direction to visitors and residents/patients; directs to locations and calls for escorts when necessary.
• Receives messages, flowers and items; notifies appropriate personnel; arranges delivery to residents/patients.
• Handles incoming emergencies following policies; notifies and directs staff and monitors wander guard bracelets.
• Serves as hand holder to upset residents and patients; reports issues to department head and supervisor.
• Assists with overflow work from Front Office and other departments, including labeling, folding, and stuffing envelopes.
• Participates in educational programs and inservice meetings; trains other receptionist upon request.
• Maintains all policies and confidentiality; handles sensitive information appropriately.
• When at Community Services Desk, assists Adult Day Clients when necessary.
• Other related duties as assigned.
