ARISE CHIL D AND FAMILY SERVICE INC is seeking a Direct Support Professional in Oswego, NY 13126. This per diem role involves assisting a young school-aged, non-verbal girl with daily living activities, using an iPad and sign language. Responsibilities include personal care, transfers with a wheelchair and Hoyer lift, and meal preparation.

Valid NYS driver’s license and reliable vehicle required. Training course (5 hours) provided; background and DMV checks conducted prior to hire.

Qualificações

• Preferred experience working with people with developmental disabilities.
• Technology access to download multiple apps and compliance with ARISE/EFR’s technology policy.

Responsabilidades

• Provide respite services to the client.
• Assist with activities of daily living and meal preparation.

• Behavioral redirection may be required when needed.
• Ensure safety and adhere to ARISE/EFR policies.
