Job summary

Schnucks is hiring a Deli Clerk in the United States (Savoy, TX area) to support deli operations. You will provide friendly service, prepare fresh sandwiches and salads, and assist customers with orders while maintaining high food safety standards.

Shifts run from 4pm to 10pm with weekend availability, totaling about 25+ hours per week. Candidates must be at least 18 and able to lift up to 50 lbs, wear proper PPE, and work as part of a team in a fast-paced store environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, holidays, and weekends.
• Able to translate pounds and ounces into decimals for orders.
• Attention to safety when using knives, slicers and related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and courteous service to customers in person and by phone.
• Maintain cleanliness of the deli area, cases and backroom following food safety guidelines.
• Slice and weigh lunch meats and cheeses, confirming thickness with the customer.
• Prepare sandwiches, salads and orders while following company recipes.
• Rotate and date products for display and ensure freshness.
