Job summary

Eastside Food Co-op in Northeast Minneapolis is seeking team members for the Deli Counter Staff role. You will provide excellent customer service, produce made-to-order sandwiches and burritos, and maintain deli cleanliness.

You may stock shelves, receive orders, and help with food prep and labeling using proper techniques. Responsibilities include following recipes, adhering to safety standards, supporting deli leads, and collaborating with the team to meet store goals.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal communication and basic written skills required.
• Ability to read and follow recipes and production lists.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Comfort with basic computer tasks and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, courteous customer service and samples.
• Prepare and assemble deli items according to recipes and lists.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the deli and display areas.
• Receive orders, stock supplies, and maintain food storage areas.
• Assist in prep, packing, labeling, and kitchen duties as needed.
• Follow safety and MN food handling requirements.
