Job summary

Rochester Regional Health is seeking a Certified Nurse Aide to support CPH West 2 in Canton Potsdam. Schedule includes evenings and weekends with 22.5 hours per week, under supervision of licensed nursing staff, delivering direct patient care and maintaining a safe environment.

Applicants must hold NYS CNA certification or be enrolled in nursing school with a plan to certify, and obtain BLS within three months of hire. Rochester Regional Health is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted New York State Nurse Aide Certification or evidence of Nursing 101 with a grade of B or better from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS certification required within three months of hire.
• If not certified at hire, must stay enrolled in nursing school; six months to become certified or employment termination.

Responsibilities

• Performs and documents direct, comprehensive, patient-centered care under supervision of licensed nursing staff.
• Provides world class customer service to patients and families.
• Reports patient conditions to licensed nursing staff to achieve positive patient outcomes.
• Maintains a safe and clean patient and family-centered environment.
