Job summary

Schnucks Markets, Inc. in St. Louis is seeking friendly, customer-focused teammates to join our store. You will greet customers, scan items at checkout, handle payments and coupons accurately, and provide courteous service throughout the shift.

Training is provided at store level. Regular attendance is essential; the role may require lifting up to 25 pounds and standing 4–8 hours. Availability until 10pm and on weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Must provide friendly and courteous service to customers.
• Regular, reliable attendance is an essential function of the job.
• Greet customers prior to checking their order.
• Identify and know produce items and proper product codes.
• Distinguish between manufacturer coupons and Schnucks coupons and process them correctly.
• Process manufacturer coupons.
• Collect correct amount due from customers and handle various payment methods.
• Complete register records accurately and maintain cash security.

Responsibilities

• Complete register record accurately.
• Practice and maintain cash security.
• Bag customer orders.
• Change register receipt and coupon machine tapes.
• Other duties may be assigned at the discretion of store management.
