Job summary

Caregiver position in Ladysmith, WI to provide compassionate, high-quality assisted living support to residents. The ideal candidate will have prior caregiving experience in assisted living or similar settings and a true commitment to enhancing daily life, comfort, and dignity for seniors under our care.

This is a Part-Time Night Shift (<30 hours/week), with every other weekend and every other holiday. Key duties include assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility; providing medication reminders; monitoring health changes; helping with meals; coordinating social and recreational activities; and maintaining a clean, safe living environment in accordance with facility policies.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a caregiver in an assisted living or similar setting preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to provide compassionate and patient-centered care.
• Basic knowledge of health and safety standards in assisted living environments.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours as needed.
• CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
• Provide medication reminders and support as directed by healthcare professionals.
• Monitor and report changes in residents’ health or behavior to nursing staff or supervisors.
• Support residents with meal preparation and feeding assistance when needed.
• Engage residents in social and recreational activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment for residents.
• Follow all facility policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
