Job summary

Encore Village of Schaumburg is currently hiring for Resident Assistants in our Assisted Living Department. Part time every other weekend pm and overnight shifts.

The Resident Assistant will provide support to residents, assist them to reach their highest level of independence, and perform duties as listed, including helping with daily living activities and safety monitoring. Previous caregiving experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous caregiving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides minimal to moderate assistance with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting.
• Provides assistance with instrumental activities of daily living such as bed making and laundry.
• Provides minimal assistance with incontinence care.
• Performs safety checks.
• Recognizes and responds to changes in residents' behavior, cognitive and physical functioning and level of participation and interaction with others.
• Communicates both verbal and written information objectively and timely to management team.
• Documents clearly and legibly in residents' records.
• Other duties as assigned.
