Job summary

The Nampa Recreation Center is hiring a Building Custodian I to support custodial cleaning, maintenance of buildings, facilities and grounds. This role reports to the NRC Custodial Supervisor and requires the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as part of a part-time schedule.

Responsibilities include cleaning, setting up furniture, handling cleaning chemicals safely, snow removal, basic repairs, and securing the facility.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year custodial experience preferred.
• First Aid and CPR certificates required.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain buildings and grounds, perform custodial tasks.
• Set up and take down chairs and tables.
• Mix chemicals safely for cleaning needs.
• Remove snow from sidewalks, parking areas and roofs.
• Perform basic maintenance and report repairs as needed.
• Lock buildings, turn off lights and monitor access; report suspicious activity.
