Job summary

World Electric, part of the Sonepar group, is hiring a Warehouse Associate in Florida. You will handle receiving, put-away, picking, packing, loading, routing, and inventory control in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The role includes operating forklifts and cherry pickers, and maintaining accurate ERP records while meeting safety standards.

The position is full-time with a 2:30PM–11:30PM shift. Candidates should have a GED or high school diploma, forklift experience, and proficiency in

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Read and interpret documents such as safety rules and operating instructions.
• Write routine reports and perform basic math operations.

Responsibilities

• Reads schedules and records items moved; verifies and records quantities.
• Organizes materials on racks and in bins according to codes; counts stock.
• Assembles customer orders and prepares items for packing and shipping.
• Checks picked products and logs discrepancies; re-picks as needed.
• Consolidates freight and loads trucks for delivery.
• Manages shipping tickets and routing, communicates delays as needed.
• Keeps ERP-based inventory records up to date and performs cycle counts.
• Receives and bundles pipe/conduit for shipping orders.
