Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Elgin, IL to support outbound and inbound activities under the Warehouse Supervisor. The role emphasizes quality, safety, productivity, and adherence to SOPs while ensuring timely shipment of products.

Responsibilities include picking, packing, loading, and palletizing, with cross-training across multiple warehouse areas. Proficiency with WMS and material handling equipment is preferred, and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent preferred.
• Previous material handling equipment experience required.
• RF scanner or voice picking experience preferred.
• Must be able to work overtime with little to no advance notice.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs to process orders including picking, quality checks, sorting, palletizing, packing, loading and preparing shipments.
• Cross-train in multiple warehouse areas and participate in projects as needed.
• Use Warehouse Management System (WMS) to check in/out products.
• Operate material handling equipment as required (order picker, forklift, reach truck, pallet jack, etc.).
• Maintain cleanliness and inventory control; work safely and per OSHA standards.
• Work on routine tasks with guidance and escalate issues to supervisor as needed.
