Job summary

Crawford Electric Supply, a member of the Sonepar group, is hiring a Warehouse Associate for the Katy Distribution Center. The role involves receiving, staging, loading and unloading products, maintaining safety standards and logs, and supporting warehouse operations in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of related experience, basic math/writing skills, and the ability to lift up to 30 pounds.

Qualifications

• 2+ years or more related experience and/or training.
• Reading, writing and arithmetic skills.
• Punctual and excellent attendance.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• PIT proficiency, reach truck, order picker, sit-down propane forklift; current certification a plus.
• Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and handling small parts.
• Ability to lift to 30 pounds and walk/stand long periods.

Responsibilities

• Receive, verify and package product for shipping.
• Stage product for loading.
• Load product onto truck.
• Unload materials from truck.
• Move materials to warehouse for storage.
• Move waste to dumpsters.
• Quality control: no damaged product or material.
• Operate SOPs and OSHA safety standards.
• Operate PIT equipment: stand up, reach truck, order picker, sit-down forklift.
• Complete daily PIT logs.
• Adhere to all processes.
• Clean and maintain work areas.
• Other duties as assigned.
