Job summary

GCG is hiring a Picking Associate at our Collegeville, PA facility. In this full-time role you will support inventory management by barcoding, scanning, and logging inventory, using RF scanners, forklifts, and other equipment to pick orders and relocate stock.

Hours are 2:00PM–10:30PM, Monday to Friday. Pay is $21 per hour plus full benefits. You will review tickets, allocate material, log inventory, and assist with other duties. A high school diploma and warehouse experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school education or GED equivalent.
• Previous warehouse experience.
• Ability to read a variety of communications, work tickets, packing slips, emails, memos and follow directions as written.
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow verbal and written directions.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Reliable transportation is required as the site is not accessible by public transit.

Responsibilities

• Review printed picking tickets and document items to be picked.
• Address tickets flagged for issues identified.
• Allocate material to be picked on tickets.
• Use RF scan guns to scan and relocate material accurately.
• Log inventory and relocate materials to correct department.
• Complete put away and scan all material going back to stock from production.
• Assist with other department duties as directed.
