Job summary

Scholastic is hiring Part-time Warehouse Associates in Brooklyn Park, MN for the 2nd shift with flexible start times after 5pm. The role offers a starting hourly rate of $16.00 plus a $1.50 per hour premium for all hours after 2 PM, along with a 50% employee discount and 401k with company match.

Responsibilities include packing, sorting, and stocking, maintaining safety and quality standards, and supporting daily warehouse operations to ensure timely book fairs and inventory accuracy.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to demonstrate basic product scanner proficiency with minimal errors.
• Strong teamwork and ability to collaborate with co-workers.
• Good verbal and written communication skills, basic math, and ability to read English safety rules and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist in packing book fair materials, cases, boxes, and displays according to procedure and quality standards.
• Demonstrate proficiency in packing components for cases, boxes and displays.
• Meet production, accuracy, and quality standards for the work performed.
• Ensure outbound contents are clean, safe, and in good condition.
• Assist in processing returned book fairs by unpacking and packing per procedure and standards.
• Monitor inventory levels to support proper packing and replenishment.
