Job summary

Federal Express Corporation in Michigan is seeking a part-time package handler to move packages, documents and supplies using efficient scan/load methods. This is a non-driving role performed in a busy environment with emphasis on safety and accuracy.

Shift is Mon–Fri from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a pay rate of $17.70 per hour. Applicants should be able to lift heavy loads, work in all weather and maintain clear communication on the warehouse floor.

Qualifications

• Able to lift 50 lbs from ground to chest level.
• Able to maneuver packages over 50 lbs with assistance or equipment.
• Able to walk and stand for designated hours.
• Able to bend, squat and climb stairs as required.
• Able to communicate clearly in a noisy environment.

Responsibilities

• Provides movement of packages, documents, dangerous goods and/or supply support using scan/load methods.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
